Buying new items is a task in which we all need to engage in sometime or another. For some, searching for and purchasing a new baseball glove that needs worked in, a new Barbie that when unwrapped, unleashes a familiar plastic odor or a new pair of "scuff free" shoes, provides a thrill from shopping. Whether one dwindles hours away in a crammed brand-name mall, or zips quickly to a drug store located in a plaza, ther ....

.... your but look smaller. Directed shopping is the result of determination, and possibly, sheer hatred which is shed upon setting foot inside a mall. I find many fathers to carry this anxiety, and once they have bought that certain something they had planned to, they're already back in the car exiting the mall parking lot.
The opposite of a Determined Shop, would be the timeless classic, "Browse About Shop". Browsing works well when you are clueles ....
