I want to use this opportunity to discuss two things, both near and dear to my heart; The United States Marine Corps and Management. What at first glance may seem rigid or narrow, the many layers between the Private and Colonel lend opportunity for innovation. At the same time, even the lowest ranking Marine, the Private knows that he or she is expected to do whatever it takes to accomplish the mission.
