However, in this essay Ill show you how different they really are through the city layout, language, and transit system. Vienna is the capital of Austria, a country in Europe south of Germany. The transit systems are the most different of the three. Vienna has over 80 busses, 40 Strassenbahns (street cars), 6 U-Bahns (under ground trains and 8 Schellbahns (fast trains that circle the city). Its the second transit system in the world, next to Japans. VAs TRT (tidewater regional transit) isnt even ranked. With only 20 busses at its disposal, its hard to move around with out a car.
